I just got a letter from DC telling me TTG is officially ending on issue #55. Is it really the end this time or is it too late to rally for another extension? Didn't they say something about TTG issues on a quarterly basis or something like that? G'ah, just so tired of fighting.

Thanks, Highlander. Tiny Titans order fills, eh?

Although I don't want to blame Tiny Titans for effectively "replacing" TTG orders as they suggested (thereby being DC's official stand-in for TTG), it looks pretty bad for its case. Unless we get word from J, it could just be chalked up to Tiny Titans just so happening to be in the "Johnny DC kiddy Titans" book slot. Hum.

If you're out there J, any idea what's going on?

(in aside, it's amusing that #55's what YJ ended on too...and we all know what happened with the YJers right after that)

Just FYI for ya'll, here was my response email to DC...

Dear DC comics,

I received a letter from you today concerning my subscription to Teen Titans Go! It's my understanding that the comic will end with issue #55 and that you want to transfer my subscription to Tiny Titans unless I inform you otherwise.

Please consider this email as my effort to inform you otherwise. I have no desire to be a subscriber to "Tiny Titans." I have been an avid fan of TTG and the show it has supported for almost 5 years now.

While my heart's desire would be for this comic to go on, I understand that at the end of the day you must do what is best for DC comics.

Please transfer my subscription to your new comic "Titans" once TTG has finished it's run.

Please everybody send letters and E-mails and tell them how much you love Teen Titans GO and want it to continue please!

We saved the comic before and showed them how big the fanbase was and we can do it again.

The animated Titans are the most lovable characters i have ever seen and it feels like such a huge waste to trow them in the trash and never use them again.

I dont want there adventures to end completely. Sad

I sent two very long, impassioned e-mails last time. I was considering doing the same for JLU, but didn't because I thought that the DCAU has had a great run both on air and in the comics, so its passing would probably be easy to accept. But Teen Titans Go!? Dying along WITH JLU?! This is unacceptable. I don't care if The Batman Strikes, Tiny Titans and/or Legion of Superheroes have to die, but those two... There will be ramifications for this. Count on it.

They just can't canncel my favroite comic. I'd do anything to keep it alive. Last time I sent 2 letters, and they sent me the exact same letter twice, shows how much they care. If it were any of us running this thing we'd do something more than just send the same thank you letter. Because we really care.

J, what's going on? We must know!

If this goes through, I'll transfer my subscription to Blue Beetle. I don't like being forced to read a title. Hell, I'm not reading Tiny Titans now. Not replacing it? Yeah, right. Great for your case, by you know, replacing it, DC.

Hey, that's what I'm here for.

Well, I do do other things occasionally, but I serve as the melodramatic rabble rouser against well done comics in danger of being canceled most vigorously.

I've composed a letter to my dear friend Paul already.

Dear Paul Levitz,

It’s ----- again. I bet you know why I am writing. People have been receiving letters about TTG being cancelled on #55. I haven’t received mine yet, but I suppose I will.

I think it’s…not very nice…that you didn’t give us any warning before you sent these letters. After all the energy we put into bringing this title back, I think we deserve more than to have it trashed five issues later with not so much as a “sorry, guys.”

And your case for Tiny Titans not replacing TTG is very shaky when you actually replace the remaining slots for TTG issues in the subscription with Tiny Titans. Now I can’t think I can get this series in good conscience. I WAS going to get it before. I’d really like my money back for my subscription if TTG ends, but I suppose that’s not possible, so I suppose I’ll email the site and say I want Blue Beetle instead. I want to support you’ve kept such a fun, consistently good series alive that long.

I once again urge you not to cancel TTG. I have no cartoons to offer, because I am frankly, tired. But this does not mean I will not fight this. Expect more annoying letters if this proceeds.

I appreciate that you extended TTG’s run, but don’t appreciate it being cut off so abruptly and replaced (I don’t LIKE to think Tiny Titans is replacing TTG once again, but you’ve made it fairly obvious it is) I believe that’s treating the fans who have shown such loyalty to the series. I can’t support or condone that.

I’d settle for a bi monthly TTG, just so you know, but would prefer a monthly. I would like it to last as long as possible, as the quality is not failing. I appreciate the business needs of DC, but really don’t appreciate the way you handled ending it on issue #55 (Young Justice parallels, anyone? Don’t tell me all the animated Titans are going to die or become depressed now, with Dan DiDio saying vaguely he never liked them anyway…)

I would at least appreciate more information about this. I think I deserve that much after my loyalty to TTG and DC, and energy I have put into it, and so do the rest of the fans.

Whatever.
I'm not a big fan of TTG, and prefer the other Teen Titans title.
Besides, with the Tiny Titans and the all grown up 80's team title coming out in april-http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/newsitem.cgi?id=12849for more info.-how long could DC keep TTG? But for all you hardcore fans, if Tiny Titans is a flop, TTG will probably make a comeback!

I love the animated titans so damn much and i dont want there adventures to end.
Not yet atlest.

I love the TTG comic and i know lots of people do the same so we must fight to save it.

They will not create as wonderful and lovable characters with so perfect personalitys as the animated titans again for a very long time.

I would read the earlier posts but I'm currently trying to finish up some homework before Monday, so I don't have the time right now. That's why I asked what can I do to help?

Send letters saying you don't want TTG canceled to the addresses in my signature. Paul Levitz is your best bet, he actually reads the letters, but send one to DiDio as well. Also, keep buying TTG and spread the word of cancellation through the internet. Try to get others to write. Remember to be polite in your letters, no insults or anything.
