Well, most people here at TGN have made it pretty obvious they feel he site has died. The show itself doesn't show any chance of being revived at the current time, with Warner Bros having moved on to other shows. I know that the forum administrators here pay for and run this site out of their own pocket, which I and I'm sure, everyone else, is pretty grateful for, and don't mean to inflict any other undue cost on them.

With that said, what would be the cost of changing TGN to another fandom another show? Young Justice is coming out soon on Cartoon Network (?) Would it be simpler to just create another site, or could TGN survive having its URL and all changed about? I'm very illiterate when it comes to computers, so if the answer is obvious I apologize, but I think if it's possible, it should be considered The Titans sections could be merged into a smaller subforum underneath the new show, and the site name/design could even still reference them, maybe draw Young Justice watchers back to TT.

It would be better to have a brand-new fansite for YJ, maybe linking/sharing forums for a better overview.

However, since YJ is not airing till Fall 2010 it remains to be seen if it's a series worth watching, let alone build a whole fansite around it.

But who's to say anyone will join the YJ site? Plus, everyone would have to sign up all over again.

But then they could merge this existing forum with that one, making TT a off-topic subject in it's own part of the forum. It'll definitely draw more fans anyway and the fans of YJ can check out the TT sub-forum and see how awesome TT is too. Smile

I think it's too early to make any decisions. If YJ is a horrible failure, merging sites would sink this one. If it's amazing, this forum might come back on its own because of the memories for old TT fans.

I do agree with you, we just have to wait for the show to air and keep an eye on the ratings. TGN wasn't online until 2004, correct? And that was an year after TT first aired, so time will tell.

well im gonna support yj cause i think at least one DC hero based show should be airing on tv... but i think a YJ part of the fourm is a good idea its a little area to talk about it but you still dont have to take out all the teen titans. If the show is good, this fourm could be made into a young justice/teen titans fourm? maybe? idk i dont make the rules but im just throwing out ideas Smile

I'd say keep it Teen Titans, and if the show is good enough, make a sub-forum for it. I'm kinda getting mixed feelings on the show, mainly because Robin is gonna be voiced by Jesse McCartney lol, but I'd definitely say it's worth waiting and seeing.

Oh, and also, dunno if this has been mentioned or whatnot, but just thought I'd leave it here.

"Film
Warner Bros. is also in development on a Teen Titans movie in which Robin is the only confirmed member so far. Akiva Goldsman and Mark Verheiden are writing it. Greg Cipes (the voice of Beast Boy) confirmed the production of the movie, and the return of the show[citation needed]. It is rumored, however, that Brian Singer (X-Men, Superman Returns) will be directing the movie."
