Titans Together
A really nice episode and I like Jericho the best. I was wondering when Kid Flash and Jinx were going to show up. And where was Red X anyways?
And I felt sorry for mas. Menos was taken? NO! Great episode and I can't wait to see it again. ^_^

Things Change
If I classified this episode as two things, they would be "series finale" and "tearjerker". This episode was the best episode of the series. In most of my reviews, I go into several different paragraphs concerning the different parts of the show. I'm not going to do that here. I'm going to talk about how this is the series finale and what we do now.
This episode gave us a great series finale, and quite possibly the best series finale I've ever seen (out of three). The entire episode is symbolic. The fight between this thing and the Titans is symbolic of how Beast Boy is trying to make things the same with Terra. He's trying to get her back, but she keeps eluding him. The Titans have to face that these villains are not the same as they were. Beast Boy has to face that things change, and they'll never be the same. Something else that is symbolic about the fight is that Beast Boy is deperately trying to get things back to the way they once were. And that's getting in the way of him doing his job. In order to do his job, he has to let go of the past. The entire episode itself makes for a perfect message for a series finale. I'm not sure if the writers knew that Season Five was the last one, but it sends a perfect message to us viewers because it is the series finale. We've watched Teen Titans for three years. We've laughed, cried, and yelled at the television. But at some point, we have to move on. That time is now, and this episode hammers home that fact to us.
Now I'll talk about the quality of the episode. The three main characters in the episode, Beast Boy, Terra, and Slade, all shine. Greg Cipes is great, because he really pulls off the sadness that Beast Boy is feeling. Ashley Johnson is great in the final scene of the episode, because her voice conveys understanding, and at the same time is trying to get him to let go of her. Ron Perlman is venomous as Slade, but through his voice, I personally could tell that he was telling Beast Boy the truth when he said that he didn't do anything to Terra.
The animation was great. When the creature was "phasing" in and out of things, it was extremely well done. I also particularly loved the House of Mirrors scene. The shattered images of Slade are just as good as they were in "Betrayal". Also, in the final scene of the episode, when Terra is pulling back, at first, you don't notice, and then you start to notice that she is leaving. Until you blink and she is gone. That is also another symbolic piece in this episode.
The story is very heartbreaking. This episode wrings out our emotions like no other episode does. It is very sad to see Beast Boy try to get Terra to remember him, and yet she doesn't. The fight scene with Slade also enhances this feeling, because when Beast Boy crushes him, Slade repeats the line, "She doesn't want to see you anymore." That line just hammers it home for Beast Boy and for the audience that this world is different.
Another thing that is great in this episode is the music. We hear the return of Terra's themed music, some of the best music that's ever been on the show. But some of the best music I've ever heard is in the final scene of the episode. Michael McCuiston outdid himself with this piece. It is perfectly written for the scene. Without that music, the scene would be nowhere near as powerful, as sad, or as bittersweet as it was. It's definitely the best piece of music on this show, and it's some of the best I've ever heard on television. That's saying something with the quality of the music that I've heard on 24 and Battlestar Galactica.
The staff of Teen Titans made good on their promise to keep nothing the same after this episode. Everything is changed. And there is no going back. Not just for the Titans, but for us viewers. We must learn how to move on. We must let go of the past. I give this episode about a 14/10. I leave you with one final thought.
Titans, go!

What can I say about this episode? Hmm? Oh, I got it! Cool season finale and a great ending. The fight between Slade and Beast Boy was totally awesome. When I first saw Slade I was like, "What the(Beep!)! I'm so confused!"
I was extremely confused when Slade showed up. I couldn't tell if he was real or not. I think that monster that the Titans were fighting was cool too. He could change into anything he wanted just by touching it. I'm also thinking Slade might have sent it to destract the Titans to go after it and follow it. I was also glad that Slade(even though he was just a robot) made it into the season finale. He was only shown in "Hide and Seek" and it was cool that he made it into this episode.
Favorite one so far and I hope to see it again.

Overall, great episode. The most confusing part for me was the Slade robot. I wasn't sure if BB was hallucinating, fighting the real Slade or a robot. Overall I was very confused at that fight scene. I was yelling, "I'm SO CONFUSED!" while I was pounding on my desk. I was so confused. I think that monster was something Slade might have sent to distract Beast Boy. Great episode and I can't wait to see it again. GO TITANS![/b]

Things Change
This episode wasn't necessarily the best but overall was good. When Terra came back I was like whoa! It left me puzzled. How in the world did Terra manage to come back to life? Plus why was Slade a robot? Did he not have the courage to come out and fight BB himself or was he simply planning something (or is he dead? doubt it) The reason this episode was ok is because so many parts left me hanging and with no gurantee of season 6,I mean i'm pretty sure others feel the same way. What must it have felt like to come back to life with no memory? This episode did have some resembilance though. The creature they fought showed how things have to change and when BB attempted to refresh Terra's memory, it showed that you can't go back.
When BB beat up Slade like crazy I was amazed. Especially when he turned into the T-Rex and he just bit Slade like crazy.I was like "WHOA!!" How could Slade not get hurt? Then he turned out to be a robot so I was like "Oh!" Also when BB went searhing for Terra in the places that they hung before must be heartbreaking, to know that your greatest memories have just been taken away from you.
The end was the sadest part though. "I'm just a girl with a geometry test next period that I haven't studied for." Then when Terra slowly disappeared in the shadows, shows that some things can't be changed and they slip away.To know that your last memory/ conversation ended like that would really be a true killer. I was pretty sad myself knowing that there's no promise of a season 6 so I was like, "NO!!!" The white screen killed me. Yet an overall good episode but in order for it to get full credit, THERE MUST BE A SEASON 6!!! Must the Teen Titans come to and end like this? It saddens us all thinking that Teen Titans will never come back.
*I would just like to add that we should all write letters to the Cartoon Network place so that TEEN TITANS CAN BE SAVED!!!*I would also like to add that you should look at the screenshots of Terra in Betryal with the Heart box and then look at the screenshots of Terra from Things Change. It just kills you to see that she really doesn't remember anything.

This is my first post here, so I aplogize if I do something wrong.
Things Change:
----------------------
From what I've read, the people that have reviewed this episode have called it tearjerking, and basically the best episode of the season. I'm afraid I'd have to disagree. It was, indeed, very artistic, but I can't honestly say it was thought out. The message was simple, "Things Change"... No kidding. It didn't take long for me to realize exactly what this episode was about, as soon as the Titans got back from fighting the first thing they did was talk about how everything changed- the candy store and book store were being turned into an office building, for example. Next, Terra comes back. Big surprise? Not even a little bit. For me, it was about as shocking as it is to find out oranges are orange. She was too much of a character and much too involved with the Titans to be left out in the very last episode, especially an episode about changes. What did surprise me, was that there was NO explanation whatsoever about her return... Nothing. How, exactly, did she get out of her little stone prison? And from there, how would she be alive, able to go up the street, find people willing to take her in, have complete amnesia, lead a normal life, and lose her powers? And on top of that, Slade (or rather his robot) is back. Of course he's back, how could you leave out the second (Trigon being the first) most important villain in the series finale? What didn't make sense was that there was no explanation (yes, again, NO explanation) of why he was back, and why he was back at the exact moment Beast Boy (sort of) needed to talk to him? Coincidence? Or poorly thought out plot? I'd have to go with the latter. The episode totally revolving around Beast Boy and Terra created a problem for me. To me, it was kind of like the producers were saying the other characters weren't all that important. I know they probably weren't trying to say that, but I still couldn't help but have that feeling.
The episode did have its good points, however. Despite it being Terra/Beast Boy romance (not something I'm fond of), I am glad that they didn't completely ignore the "romantic" aspect of the show (If you don't notice it, you obviously haven't been paying attention). It was touching in most parts, but a little bit redundant, as the sequence of events took the plot no where except back to the main point of "Things Change" which it did again... and again... and again. The fight scene was confusing, but at least they added a bit of action. My overall feeling of the episode was that the producers were either trying too hard, or not trying at all. The ending of the series could hardly be called an ending, and could only leave me saying "THAT'S IT?!" Honestly, the episode before this one would have made a much, much, MUCH better ending.[/b]

THINGS CHANGE
"Things Change" is an outstanding episode. It consists of all of the things that make Teen Titans an enjoyable series, but at the same time, ends what is most likely the last season in a manner filled with the only thing it needs: emotion. This episode focuses mainly on Beast Boy and his relationship with Terra, who has returned to the Titans not remembering anything of her life as a superhero.
One need look no further than the title of this episode to see its hidden meaning. Not everything will be the same forever. Things change, people and places come and go, and life moves on. Amy Wolfram conveys this message perfectly by singling Beast Boy out into a trainwreck of memories. Terra's amnesia is put to wonderful use here; it serves as a catalyst for Beast Boy maturing emotionally and mentally.
The animation and music in this episode are both stellar. With gorgeous piano music flowing through the bustling high school building, and pulse-pounding instrumentals accompanying the Titans as they battle the shape-changing monster, the visuals and sound are some of the biggest highlights of the episode.
There is, of course, a share of humor here. Raven and Cyborg provide most of the witty one-liners that can bring a smile to almost anyone's face. Since the team as a whole isn't the focus of this episode, there is little more to say about it. The villain here is unique and mysterious, and it provides a solid challenge for the Titans as their final battle. We might never know where it came from, but it's unforgettable and evil as all bad guys should be.
The scene in the hall of mirrors is another great moment in the episode. Even if it's just a robot, the return of Slade and great voice work by Ron Perlman continues to add sinister detail to the show. It's a powerful and meaningful scene that effectively shows Beast Boy's vulnerability.
All of the things that make Teen Titans wonderful are put into one final goodbye package that is executed brilliantly and is very memorable. Whether it's the end of the show or not, I'm entirely satisfied with the outcome given to us.

Thought I'd give this a shot. I tried to pick eps with little or zero reviews. Also eps I can be impartial on.
Apprentice Part One:
Quite possibly one of the biggest land mark episodes in Teen Titans history, this episode, I'm told, converted many. When I saw it, it was rather late in the game, the show was almost "over" (I believe it shall return) and I saw it on first season DVD. The plot had been sort of spoiled for me, due to reading Part Two's episode description. But I was blown away.
The episode starts out with a gourgeous dream sequence. The music for this section was phenomonal, some of the coolest music I have ever heard. The fight scene was good, with parts of it eerily reminiscent of Masks...this is explained, as this is Robin's dream, he'd be replaying the fight in his mind. I thought this was a nice touch. How many of us repaly our daily doings in our dreams? Slade's glowing eye was creepy, as was the moment he showed the rocks, shaped like Titans.
The epispde quickly picks up from there, with Slade revealing his fiendish plan because he "feels like it" and Robin getting angry again...with that little dialogue, we have some nice Starfire-Robin and Raven-Beast Boy moments, with references to Masks.
We cut to the "Robin goes crazy" fight...of course, Slade sets a trap, and Robin, in his anger and obsession, goes absolutely nuts and on a robot demolishing rampage. The Titans are scared by this and so are the viewers...the scene where Robin keeps beating on the robot even after it's demolished...is jarringly freaky and well done.
Starfire's "sneeze tracking" is a creative way to track the chromium...not to mention humorous, an effective ice breaker. In hind sight, we wonder, did Slade actually know of this allergy and is that why he chose a metallic chromium core? This is followed up by dual fight scenes. These are both well done and exciting, though perhaps Robins flip of Cinderblock a bit unrealistic...but this is a cartoon. Also, the boat scene does seem to drag on just a little bit. Robin finds the tracker with a cold smile on his face that fills the audience with foreboding...
The fight between Slade and Robin is fantastic. Robin's frusturation at Slade beating him...Slade's cutting quips...a well choreagraphed fight scene that was exciting to watch. One of my favorite parts was when Slade punched Robin in the stomach, and he groaned and fell down...coupled with Slade's evil chuckle. You felt sorry for Robin...and truly creeped out at the same time.
Slade reveals there is no detonator in a juicy plot twist...explaining the veiwers skepticism about Slade randomly revealing his plan. Meanwhile, the Titan's trying to take down the detonator was an amusing anecdote, from Cyborg's "oooh" to Starfire's sneeze to BB's freak out.
Slade's real plan is really really great...it coincides perfectly with the rest of the episodes (well, perhaps not his dissapointment in Divide and Conquer) and is a great twist...and a wonderful motive. We see Slade doesn't do evil things to "take over the world" or "because he can" which is refreshing. Ron Perlman's icy voice acting help Slade to be a truly creepy and great villian.
Robin's situation is painful to watch, the best moment was when he said "No way will I ever work for-" and then fell silent when Slade held up the trigger. The tension is very thick here, and it's very exciting.
The episode ends with Starfire calling for Robin desperately through his communicator, while Robin is dressed in a Apprentice outfit. The spoylight in the darkness is a wonderful effect, and with Slade's last line and Robin's stoic, glaring countenance, then the cut to the "TO BE CONTINUED" you are breathless and on tenterhooks, unable to wait for the next installment.
With a great beginning and ending, Apprentice is a jarring, dark episode, showing once again, just how cool Teen Titans can get. With action, drama, a good plot as well as great character interaction, I can't see how anyone can't love this episode.

Sorry to double post...I'm doing Apprentice Part 2 and End Part 3 now, as they have no reviews on the site, which counts as a crime against humanity...kay...
Apprentice Part Two:
This episode starts out tense, and stays tense, right to the moment when the Titans save themselves. The Titans callig Robin's name, the realization that Robin is Slade's new lapdog, the moment between Robin and Starfire...the scenes between Robin and Slade...you are on the edge of your seat, emotionally invested in all these characters.
This episode rocked...following up Apprentice One, it doesn't dissapoint one bit...despite the tension, there is an overall moody kind of coolness to the whole episode, and even some jokes thrown in (three words...disgruntled...radioactive...clones) that somehow don't seem out of place at all. Just seeing the characters react to the situation is a treat. The character moments are perfect, especially that tension filled Robin-Starfire confrontation. Not only was it completely cool, but you FEEL for both the characters...Robin's desperation, Star's indecision...you can see the battles inside them. And the team moments, the friendship, how the Titans come to save Robin...were powerful, and not cliche.
Now onto the fight scenes...exellent. Top notch choreography...it's very hard to pull off the fight scen between Robin and the Titans, neither really wanting to hurt each other...but they did it. Robin and Slade fights=awesomeness. My only complaint is that fight was a tad long, though it had great moments, such as Slade punching the floor, suddenly disapearing behind the pendulum and Robin standing on the staff wedged into the wall, only to have Slade chop it apart...
The fact that Slade attacked red blood cells has ticked off some people as it is scientifically innacurrate (The deaths would be slow, and not so visibly painful) I suppose there are ways to explain around that, but you would wish that the writers had chosen for Slade to attack something else...it is a cartoon, but it's nicer when the villians plan is completely logical. Just one flaw in an otherwise great arc.
Batman references abound, sure to please many fans. And the little scene at the end of this episode was just...cute and uplifting. It's funny, and bound to make you smile. I particularly liked when Beast Boy was dancing, and Robin had this smile on his face, just happy to be with his friends again. I found that adorable for some reason.
Overall, a powerful, suspenseful episode...enough for viewers everywhere to see how awesome our show can be.
9.99/10
And now...
The End, Part Three
...and the saga is complete!
The end of Raven's arc, this is a very emotional, lovable...and almost mind blowing episode. One of my favorites, and aside from a few complaints, which I shall illustrate, a fitting end to Raven's saga.
As far as character development, this episode is great with it. A pivotal episode for Raven, there are just some heart breaking moments in there. From the very beginning it strikes a chord...the "I'm lost" sounded so real (I commend Tara Strong on the voice acting in that one), then Robin's little "story" when he and Raven were climbing the cliff...it brought tears to my eyes. It just summed up Raven's existence, and her friendships so nicely...and was so bittersweet. The other Titans meanwhile, continued to show bravery as they battled their "bad selves."
Which brings me to the fight scenes. The end to the Good vs. Evil fight sequence was satisfying I suppose, it took them long enough, but really, until Trigon revealed he knew where Robin was (I liked that, great plot twist by the way) they weren't really trying to defeat their evil selves, but to distract Trigon, so it sort of makes sense that it took so long. When the Titans "switched" to defeat their counterparts, it was awesome and funny (especially BB's guiltiness)
Meanwhile, Slade's fight was just pure coolness. Especially the end. Slade actually killed someone...I think that's pretty edgy for a "kids" show, and I love it. His parting comment, so classic...and bad to the bone.
And the final fight. The Titans (and Slade's) last stand was very nicely done, once Slade attacked Trigon with his own ax, he was weakened...and can you say ouch? But Trigon blasted them all in the end, and it was up to Raven to save the day.
Some have complained this fight is too duex ex machina. And admittedly, it is. I wish they had cut some of the "Titans vs. evil" fight, or other stuff, to give Raven a longer, better explained fight.
Despite this, it was completely AWESOME to watch Raven own Trigon. It was. And aside from duex ex machina, the important thing about the story was it's message...that you can control who you become, not matter who your parents are, and also a message of hope...and friendship...this episode carried it off perfectly, in a non sappy way and the last fight is such a moment for Raven, that you can't help but cheer. The emotional weight of the story is just...perfect.
The last scene is typical of the Titans...hilarious, uplifting...and Robin telling Raven she was the most hopeful person he knew was a great endnote to the story...Raven's saga...complete.

Well, I decided to write a review. I don't know if it's good or not, but here we go...
"Things Change"
A happy day it is for all Terra fans. The broken-hearted BB finally finds his crush again, the Titans meet a new enemy, and everything has changed from the way they remembered. In the beginning, the Titans are remenesing(sp?) over what they remember until they see a new villian. The dust clears and BB sees Terra. He runs off as the rest of the team tries to find the creature.
Terra turns out to be not who BB remembers. She's a normal school-girl, she has no memory of her former self, and she doesn't have powers.
While all of that happens, the team is fighting the monster and having trouble figuring out what it is. BB gets yelled at for leaving during a battle, and then leaves again as the monster appears again. He goes to the cavern where they last saw her. He has a flashlight and looks at her old statue. The plaque is there, the roses are dead, but the statue is missing. Beast Boy returns to fairgrounds where they had their fist date and Slade appears. The shape-shifter's worst nightmare comes true. Terra doesn't want to remember him. He goes back to her high school, and tries to talk to her. Robin calls BB and BB gets his heart-broken again.
Bad points-Terra has turned kinda mean. Beast Boy doesn't find the girl of his memories. The Titans have an impossible enemy to beat.
Good points-Terra is a lot like her old self. Beast Boy does see her. The episode is a good end to the season.
Overall-This is a sad episode the ends on a confusing note. This is truly a good episode that serves the purpose of getting another season that promises to be good.[/b]

Starfire: eek! someone's claws are on my grednacks!!" ~i also was actually kinda scared watching this XD all of the drama and when the trigon rat things got starfire.. and like.. devoured her... i also loved how raven finally admitted she was scared and that big raven flies over the roof and dissapears and then she wakes to her friends being right there. that was a great episode.

BETRAYAL
"Betrayal" is held by the fans as perhaps the best of the five Terra arc episodes. While I was never too keen on it, there are more things it does right than wrong, and for that I applaud it.
The episode paces well, with an enjoyable balance of fight scenes and more personal moments, especially between Terra and Beast Boy. This episode is probably one of the best in making their conversations seem convincing and distinctly human. The dialogue slips along nicely, and the voice actors' talents only make the episode better.
My main problem with the episode at first was not its predictability, but the fact that it seemed to portray Terra as a weaker and more compliant character than she really is. Her adventurous and stubborn side was only shown at a glimpse - once Slade showed up, she was nervous and up-tight the whole way through, and did whatever anyone else asked of her.
Despite that, "Betrayal" gradually answers many of the questions that were raised in "Titan Rising". While it was easy to see how the epsiode would end, viewers were thrown many twists in the middle, like the attack on Titans Tower and Beast Boy completely shunning Terra for her actions. He really showed a serious and cold side of himself that was so different from his normal attitude, yet somehow, it still works.
Delivering an ending that places viewers right inside Beast Boy's shattered psyche, along with the great animation and music one would come to expect from this show, "Betrayal" manages to give itself an admirable and memorable place in the Season 2 storyline.

How much do the Teen Titans know about their dear Raven? Cyborg and Beast Boy learned a bit about her in Nevermore, and Starfire learned about her in Switched. She gave hints of her inner self before, but they still don't seem to really know much about her. She's always been the mysterious character of the bunch, so Birthmark reveals peices of her secrets. However her friends still know not much about her.
The beginning brought a laugh to many fanatics. Dr.Light brought this hint of humor to the show, when Raven notes,
"Next time you're looking to steal something, you might want to pick a target we can't see from our living room."
And that leads to Beast Boy dancing in his underwear, to Raven showing her dark self, which leads the mild villian to an instant surrender. This was hilarious, but hilarious goes from bright to mysterious and terrifying.
The characters were really well drawn in this episode, especially Raven from beginning to end. Slade was a real surprize for us all. Raven knew what was coming. She'd known all her life. When she tells Robin that something terrible is going to happen, he just knows the beginning of it. This episode was very well done, from Robin's sympathetic voice to Raven's more defeated one. For the first time we see she has the ability to stop time. However under Trigon's influence, Slade is uneffected.
I admitt the contents of this episode were complete shock to me, and yet it seemed so flawless. When Slade gives Raven the message, she sees what the end of the world would look like. She is instantly horrified and fights back with words. 'No! I won't do it! This is just a vision. This can't be real!'
Terra Strong, Ron Perlman, and Scott Menville carried their voices with great acting through out the entire show.
Again in this episode, Raven has an outburst of uncontrolable energy, and like in Fear Itself, she faints because of so much power being released.
This was a dramatic, horrific, and frightening piece of Titan history.
Raven bringing Robin to a church for example, shows she's in search of a santuary. She tries to bring him somewhere safe. She explained that on the anniversary of her birth something is supposed to happen. Something very bad.
By the end of the show Robin thinks this horrid thing is over. With a crispe and mournfull voice, she clear states to herself that this is just the beginning. This really brought a lot of questions to fans, wishing to see the next part - or The Profecy. The beginning of what? This could be asked, but as Slade said,
"You're going to destroy the world, Raven."
It is transparent Raven means the beginning of, well, the end of the world.
Trigon is not fully revealed in this episode. You see his four red eyes at the end, and when Raven is receiving a vision as she sits in bed. Her scream awakes Robin, but to her relief she doesn't have to answer why. Trouble!
Relief then morfs to terror in the entrance of Slade.
All in all, this turned out one of the best done episodes I've seen in a long time. It held much emotion and revealed a part of one of Raven's secrets.
"And the world of mortals shall soon be ended."
Trigon's deep voice ends the episode, and brings yet another urdge to see what happens next.

Things Change
There are a lot of things that I have to say about the series finale... and I'm afraid none of them good.
While it's a given that things would be different when the Titans returned from their battle against the Brotherhood of Evil, this is hardly the place for a 'Terra-revival' episode.
It was heart breaking to say the least. I could only look at my sister later and say, 'What the Hell was that?!'
Yes, things change. Great, I know. Was it entirely necessary to shove that message down the viewers throats?
And no, don't tell me it was 'artistically brilliant' and 'original'. It was a clear attempt at being anime. The over-use of anime-style symbolism, the movement of frames, the school uniforms for Murakami High? That's hardly original and it's been done before by other cartoons who've tried to be anime. If they had started off the series that way, then I guarantee it wouldn't have gotten past the First season. Also keep in mind; this show is geared towards 7 to 13 year olds. How many seven year olds do you know 'got it'? Teen Titans is not an anime and should not have tried to be one. Anime inspired is one thing; overtly trying to make it into one is an insult to the real thing and is a big reason why so many non-anime fans hated the show. This episode just confirmed what they were saying
Don't get me wrong; I'm a major Terra fan and I was happy to see her again. The way she was simply thrown in like that makes no sense. In REAL anime, situations are built up and there are clues throughout that it's going to happen. This was done SMACK! No warning, no hints, clues, nothing. I feel she deserved something infinitely better for a return that this; she had a profound impact on ALL the characters and the show as a whole; she deserved something more than this and was truly disappointing that this was all they could come up with. She deserved a two-part episode, not just this.
One of my questions is; why in the WORLD would Slade even give a damn to send a robot to confront Beast Boy? This makes no sense. I've read peoples reviews and how they all say 'Slade was trying to help Beast Boy.' Uh, no. First off, watch the entire series again and find me ONE PLACE where Slade does something for someone else without it benefiting him in some way. Forget the comic's and focus on the show. Why should Beast Boy trust the person who screwed with Terra's head in the first place?
I've been watching anime for a LONG time. I've learned that there are several recurring themes that are always present and consistent.
One; things are never as they appear. If Terra does indeed remember, why would she stay in the same city? You would think that after all that happened and for all the effort of wanting to start a new life, she would leave. When a person wants to start over, they often change their location. They move out of the city, state or even the country to make a new life for themselves. Many times they will change their looks; dye their hair, change their name. So, IF Terra does remember, why did she stay in Jump City?
Second; The Past comes to light at the most inopportune times.
This is something to keep in mind. It never fails; a character in a story is trying to hide/run from their past. In some case they will fake their death or even suppress the memories of past misdeeds or pain.
What happens? At some point, a day, a year or a decade from now, that past comes back to bite the person in the ass, forcing that person to confront it.
How long do you think it will be before that happens with Terra? None of us can say with certainty or absolution that her powers are gone. They are very likely simply dormant... like a volcano. Bubbling beneath the surface until one day there's a shift and they show signs of pushing themselves to the surface. And let's be honest; I highly doubt that powers of hers can or will simply be shut up and forgotten. At some point, they will need release. If the Earth didn't let off steam every now and then, it would explode. Who knows what could happen to Terra if she continues to keep pushing them down.
So, in other words, this episode was clearly contrived as more controversy than real closure.
I'm sorry, but as a series finale, this failed on too many levels. The writers, directors and producers tried too hard to make it 'deep' and 'profound'. Instead, we get a 'cliché' and 'wanna-be' anime episode.

Mother Mae-Eye
OK, this was one of those episodes that is so sweet and yet mildly creepy. I think that Mother has pretty good parenting skills (without the evil hypnotic pie) but the problem is she treats the titans like they are five! Personally, I think ANYONE would make a better mother then her. I mean, loving your kids is one thing, but hypnotizing them with pie?! that is just plain crazy!
However, I do kind of feel like thanking her because Robin didn't really have a mother except for the first nine years of his life, but I just feel a little bad for Mother Mae-Eye, all she wanted was love, but she still was nuts to try to extract their affection by baking them! She should have known that love is infanente, you can make more if you want it. Oh well! *Lol's* Personally, that is just crazy, but she still tried, so, some brownie points for that...
What do you think? thanks!

Hide and Seek
Besides the fact that it was my favorite, and still is the episode was amazing! It shows that Raven could make a good mother, even if she is a bit moody. Hide and Seek was the best episode to introduce the three young superheros: Teether, Melvin, and Timmy. And even Bobby, which I thought was one of the most creative idea that Teen Titans brought to us fans. The fact that throughout the whole episode, unitl the end, he was just Melvin's "imaginary friend", thus his fear of Raven. But it was he who saved her, and he finally trusted Raven, who was protecting the young superheros. And along with this, his identity was revealed, making him more than just imaginary. Even if the whole bathroom gag was used before, in "Transformation", I give it a ten out of ten for the storyline and the animation. Usually in Teen Titans, there were a few episodes that had animation errors, I didn't see any in this one.

Mad Mod
Possibly the most bizarre episode to grace the history of the Titans, Mad Mod portrays a new kind of villain - the hypnotist, and the school teacher. No villain likes the heroes and every bad guy wants to be rid of them... but who'd have expected them to go the route of actually building a sort of Hogwarts for the Reformation of Heroes?
The Titans awake from unconsciousness at the beginning of the episode to find themselves in the grasp of a man who seems to know them much better than they know him - he seems to have been watching them, and learning how to dampen their abilities judging by the specialized devices he has for each Titan...
After being separated and escaping their own situations, the Titans realize that this isn't just any old school. Every subject has its own deadly twist - the library contains an oversized and deadly OVERDUE stamp, the chem lab contains chemicals that would singe you skin off on contact, and the laws of physics have absolutely no power here. Throw in the danger of being hypnotized and rendered unconscious at any moment, and you have the recipe for one wild ride. And just when they thought they'd escaped, they end up right back where they started. Is it even possible to escape this madhouse?
As can be expected from the show, it isn't all suspense and action - plenty of entertaining pop-culture references and sound effects saturate this episode in fun, not to mention the wacky-sounding song K2G in the background for one of the chase scenes (courtesy Puffy AmiYumi), and surprises at every turn to keep the watcher entertained during every second.
This episode gives plenty of well-known sayings and facts of life a whole new spin on things: library fees can kill you, laughter is the best medicine, and optical illusions suddenly become a lot less fun.
Even though it is later realized that it's projection screens and holograms, one can't help wonder what kind of crazy guy would put that much time and effort into the reformation of the Teen Titans... guess you'll just have to watch the episode to find out.

Nevermore - 1.06
A truly intriguing foray into portraying exactly who the character of Raven is. The premise of Raven losing control of her temper (especially in place of Dr. Light's insulting comment, "What? Afraid of the light?") resulting in Beast Boy and Cyborg later innocently finding themselves trapped in Raven's mind is interesting and done creatively.
We get several foreshadowing moments including Raven's power when she becomes unable to control her emotions as she drags Dr. Light into what one can only imagine to be the ultimate nightmare scenario. In that scene, Raven embodies the boogeyman by sprouting tentacles despite the shadow on the wall betraying that she has not grown in massive height. Another foreshadowing moment is the revelation of Raven's father issues, which would later crop up as a key plot story throughout Season 4.
While we see Beast Boy and Cyborg gain a small bit of understanding with Raven, in spite of Beast Boy's growing frustrations that Raven isn't a singular emotion but constantly appears as a multitude from happy to "weepy" to heroic, we also see a great deal from Starfire as well, which is important to note as this episode preceded "Switched" which would place each character into the opposite's shoes, literally. Starfire explains to Beast Boy after Raven turns vicious at his breakfast morning prodding that, "Raven is complicated" and later expresses worry and concern enough to want to check up on Raven despite Robin's reasoning that, "Raven said she wants to be alone".
The episode smoothly blends humorous moments such as the birds chasing/fleeing Beast Boy and Cyborg with a foreshadowing of the darker moments that most Raven episodes would soon convey. The final battle with Raven's father highlights not only Beast Boy and Cyborg standing by Raven's side along with Raven standing up to and confronting the role of anger in her life, but also accepting that all of her emotions help make her who she is rather than individual aspects that can all be controlled under one umbrella. Along with standing by her side physically, Beast Boy and Cyborg show strong internal willingness to help Raven out in a time of need rather than dispersing or retrieving Robin and Starfire to help solve the situation. Beast Boy's advice of Raven combining all her personalities was a particularly insightful comment from a character that often was treated inversely of being very intelligent.
In terms of overall character portrayals, all the characters are voiced strongly as usual, but Tara Strong as Raven in particular stands out managing to differentiate each individual emotion while still staying true to Raven's smoldering anger when she chews out Beast Boy and Cyborg for using her mirror to enter her mind.
Beast Boy mostly served as a means of being the character to not understand Raven, including chewing out the weepy emotion character for constantly switching emotions while he and Cyborg are lost. We later see Beast Boy again unable to understand Raven as a character and person (unlike Starfire in "Switched") in the Season 3 episode "Spellbound", showing that whatever understanding happened in this episode may not have carried over as much as fans of a Beast Boy/Raven pairing may have hoped. In this episode, Cyborg served as the reasoning sidekick to Beast Boy's complaining and didn't do much until the final physical fight. Robin and Starfire served small roles but Starfire seemed to be the only one to truly express concern over Raven's well being, including needing Robin to try and pull her hand away physically from knocking on Raven's door.
This was a very strong episode largely serving as a vehicle for Raven's character to be explored and Tara Strong certainly rose to the occasion, offering a glimpse of the stronger Raven-led episodes to come in Season 3 and Season 4.
