"Trouble in Tokyo" Available for download in Widescreen

So apparently Trouble in Tokyo has been available for download online since at least May of this year, but amazingly I didn't stumble upon it until tonight. So if you haven't seen already, you can download or rent the movie from iTunes or Amazon.

The cool thing though is that, unlike the DVD release, this is in Widescreen--something I've been hoping for from a Titans release ever since Season 2! From the preview, it looks great in widescreen. I may have to download it, even though I have the DVD, just to see it all. Cool

That's just simply odd:

Why release the film on TV and DVD in that stupid fullscreen format and release it on those two sites in the much-better widescreen format? Surprised

Same reason that Warner Bros. released The Powerpuff Girls Movie in only fullscreen format on DVD, back in 2002. And if anyone can tell me what that reason is, I'll give you all the money in my wallet. Rolling Eyes
