I don't know why there is no thread for this issue, i just re-read it and enjoyed it even more. It's a pretty good issue, and the whole Transformation comparison, JTorres actually wrote this before the episode, so :p
I think it can easily be put after the Transformation Episode, and there are also many hints that the Trigon in the issue is also not the real one, just ravens emotions, so i like that as well since it doesn't conflict with seasons 4 arc.

Edit: Added the usual issue stuff - Butho

Raven's got the mother of all zits! And while her team tries to be helpful, they only stress her out further, causing the blemish to become an entity of its own!

So I finally got to read one of these TTG comics.

This was quite funny, but the art made me cringe.
It was much worse than the few others I've seen, but I guess it made up for it with sillyness.
I think I'll stick with the TT v3 though Surprised

Amazon.com offers year-long subscriptions (1 issue every month) via TitansGo.net, here:
Teen Titans Go! subscription link

Ordering through that referral link helps a bit in paying for TitansGo.net's maintenance, so naturally we encourage people who are buying anyway to do so through us :D

As for single back issues, check out MyComicShop.com. They're a lil Marvel-biased, but they have all past issues for "Teen Titans Go!" available, as well as the digests (which collect five issues each).

I just got the Digest today, so I just read it. It was OK, but the Beast Boy jokes were lame >.< Trigons whole appearance was quite...odd as well. Heh, Stars song was quite amusing though ^.^

Judging by the comic, I'm going to post a guess on the translation for Star's song. The Tamaranian- translated words will be in bold.

Floodles cannot blossom without the rain
Our bodies cannot grock without some pain
But just as the Solmorn brings skies of blue
You will learn to love the fargnu you

floodles= Flowers, plants, trees, etc.
grock= Grow, develop, change, etc.
Solmorn= Grand Ruler of Tamaran, X'Hal, etc.
fargnu= inner, real, perfect

I think it was a good issue. I don't think the artwork looks that bad, in fact there are some panels that look really good. The thing I didn't like were the "Manga faces", they seemed not so well drawn (but thats OK, they have perfected them and now in the newer issues they can draw better faces).
The only thing I found out of character was Raven crying because their friends made fun of her zit, it just didn't seemed right.

Hi, This Is my firs time on any forum, could someone gimme a hand? puppy eyes
Anyway, I found this issue fine: the atrwork was great (Unlike the pencilling by John McCrea in Issue #4).

What's with everyone not listening to Raven Surprised
No wonder why she is so moody.

The front cover was pretty bad but the artwork was good inside... especially comapred to Issue 4.
Though Trigon appearing as a zit was slightly... surreal...

In Monster Zit we have a nice and fairly gross story.

This issue was almost too close to the episode Transformation, but luckily I think it was better.

There were very funny and very gross moments in this story, but it was more gross than anything.

However, the ending wasn't that good, and the story got stale pretty quickly. It still makes for a nice read.

And that concludes digest one. I still have two more to go, and I can't wait to read them. I hope digest #4 is available at Barnes & Noble soon!

It should be available in stores now! Thanks for picking up the digests and posting your thoughts here.

Maybe we should have threads for people who only read the digests?

Trigon's little thing at the end? Yay. Good stuff.

Robin teasing someone? Robin teasing someone about a zit? Robin teasing one of his best friends, one who is rather emotionally...special...about said zit? Please.

Agreed. It seemed OOC for both Robin and Cyborg. But it was hilarious how Starfire looked like she was about to kill them all for teasing Raven.

The art was kind of funky for this issue, and the zit thing was way weird and gross...but it was really funny. Especially the little comics at the bottom. So Awesome.

And this line:

"Um, if I'm not mistaken that was her father, Trigon. So how about we give them some father daughter bonding time?"
Laughing

And Starfire's song!

This was a fun, entertaining little read. Especially liked it when Starfire kept wanting to sing her blossoming songs....nice. Smile

I enjoyed this issue a lot! I laughed the whole way through, but my favorite part had to be when Starfire told the guys to shut up about Raven's zit, and she slips up and calls Raven's "new look" "zitty" instead of pretty. This is my favorite issue, as of this date. Definetly give it a 10 for the artwork and a 9 for the story, even as much as I think it's funny that Raven got a zit, it's still Raven, the Titan I have a big crush on, that's why I give the story a 9 (if that made any sense).
