So, in my re-reading the books, i read this one today. And again i enjoyed it very much, it serves as a great introduction to the comic series, and shows a cool story(maybe kinda confusing). It introduces the characters very well, it's nice seeing the Hive Mistress again, and the Hive kids, not to mention slades small role at the end, too bad the comic never got a chance to do a full slade story besides him manipulating the strings.

issue description:
Join Robin and his band of teenage heroes - the brave Cyborg, funny guy Beast Boy, the naive but seriously hot (and way powerful) Starfire, and the moody goth-girl Raven - as they battle for truth, justice and pizza! In the fabulous first issue, the team just wants to chill out and play video games. But those creepy kids from the HIVE Academy - Jinx, Gizmo and Mammoth - have hacked into the Titans Tower game system, and the Titans get caught in a virtual reality gone mad! Will they discover the mystery man behind it all?

I just got the first three digests of Teen Titans Go!, and I'm excited to begin reading them. I just read #1, so I'll write a short and sweet review.
Now I'm not a big comic reader, but overall, not bad for the first issue. The characters' personalities and comedy was all there, and the drawings was right-on. It could have easily been an episode of the show--a short one.
I really liked how the issue played out like the first aired episode of the TV show, Final Exam. It had Jinx, Gizmo, and Mammoth, as well as the Headmistress and, of course, Slade. The plot was very entertaining, and I enjoyed it.
It was interesting 'cause the beginning sort-of reminded me of the plot of the Teen Titans console game. The Titans are playing a game with themselves in it. I like it.
I'm looking forward to reading more issues of Titans Go!, and hopefully I'll be able to purchase digest #4 soon--it's still "unavailable" at Amazon and Barnes & Noble...

Yay for being all caught up on back issues....thanks to Ebay and my friendly neighborhood comic shop!
This was an auspicious beginning for my beloved TTG. Loved seeing Raven playing video games. Especially loved the cover.....so that's how all those promo posters disappeared back in '03!

see I have this issue, but it's in french. lol
I found it randomly in a comic store on holiday.
I think it have the vauge idea of whats happening, but I'm having to sit there with a translator to work out some of the stuff, it's good so far though- Robin is funny on the first few pages just kicking some video ninja butt then being all "so... anyone else wanna play?"

I thought the idea of Raven playing video games was awesome and funny at the same time, seeing how BB glued a controller to her hands in "Titans East pt.1" and she said "Just because you glued the controller to my hands, doesn't mean I want to play." I give this issue a ten out of ten.

Yeah, but guess what? Right after Gar did that, Rae herself gave HIM a wedgie and smiling as she did so, proving that even she has a sense of humor. A payback-is-a-you-know-what sort of humor laden with sarcastic wit, but still humor nonetheless.

And coming from Rae, the girl who said she couldn't afford to feel anything.

She can feel in small doses. It's when she feels too much that causes havoc.
