Finally got to pick up TTG #7 (well, 'picked up' as in my mom drove back home to get some comics while I stayed at school on a beautiful Saturday to sit infront of a computer for 5 hrs straight, of course not unlike what I do when I come back home to unwind anyway, and hey I'm rambling and in parentheses even!), and I have to say it's the best issue yet. My opinion of course, but who the hell can resist a comic that stars Blackfire? I ask you!

Anyhow, it starts off pretty abruptly with little explanation on why Blackfire is there all of a sudden, but the story ties up and resolves well. This must've been the first time where the lil SD'd Titans didn't intrude on the context of the story nor irritate me with corny jokes (puns can be cute, but knock-knock jokes are painful). In fact, they were a more than welcome addition. SD'd Starfire and Blackfire are cute, to put it mildly.

Sadly, I didn't notice any YJ cameos, but Todd's artwork can make up for just about anything :P

Anyone pick this one up? What'd you think?

btw, here be cover link: Teen Titans GO! 7

I agree. The knock-knock jokes are TERRIBLE. That just tells ya how young of an the audience they're targeting!!

Anyways, Blackfire was sexy. I hope to see from her again! I mean, she wasn't captured by a Centauri police this time. She just kinda... flew off. So hopefully she'll hang out with us again in another issue.

Hate to dig up an old thread, but I just have to say that now, I look through that issue just so that I can laugh at how SD Blackfire combed the dickens out of SD Starfire's Wonder Woman action figure's hair Laughing

Getting caught up on back issues is fun. And so is TTG #7.....Blackfire's debut in TTG! The story is nice, if not predictable. But what I really like about it is the art work. I like the way Blackfire is drawn in this issue....and I really like that cover! Nice...
