Seeing as several rebooted and relatively new franchises have been given comics, like Transformers, Friday The 13th and even Wheel Of Time, what do people think about giving Avatar a comic?

Personally I wouldn't mind, Star Wars has had tons of comics in the Expanded Universe and it would help flesh out the Avatar-verse quite a bit

Isnt the game set in the time of the first humans ariveing or so mething like that. I have heard its crap tho. A comic could work depending on whats it about.

The argument against this is, in fact, the Expanded Universe, since the vast majority of it is terrible.

Agreed, especially the stuff that takes place after "Return of The Jedi." With the exceptions of Legacy and maybe Thrawn, all the EU stuff post-Return needs to be avoided like the plague. The only EU stuff I follow are The Clone Wars, The Force Unleashed, Shadows of The Empire, Legacy...and that's basically it. Unless you count the "Knights of The Old Republic" video-games, which I don't.

Still, a few side-stories about Avatar certainly couldn't hurt.

I liked the jedi knight games lore. Well mostly just the jedi knight 2: jedi outcast one.
